Key Responsibilities

  • Complete intakes, documentation, and case notes in a timely manner.
  • Support families in-home with crisis management, goal-setting, and skill development.
  • Guide and teach parents in improving family and child well-being.
  • Advocate for families, ensuring physical, emotional, and safety needs are met.
  • Supervise and ensure safety during parent/child visitations.
  • Provide transportation for children when needed.
  • Connect families with community resources.
  • Participate in team meetings with NDHHS, Probation, and service providers.
  • Conduct drug screenings (oral, urine, sweat patch, breathalyzer).

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services (Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Early Childhood Development, or related field). Students within two semesters of graduation may also apply.
  • Skills: Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Requirements:
    • At least 21 years old.
    • Valid driver’s license (good record, reliable transportation).
    • Ability to transport clients and maintain agency vehicles.
    • Commitment to confidentiality and family-centered practice.
