DESCRIPTION:ECAP Community Conversation Meeting\n\nGage County community leaders and residents are invited to Community Conversation meetings to find out how Entrepreneurial Communities are defined and what local residents feel about Gage County and their local community.\n\n\n\nTuesday\, February 3\n\n7 pm\n\nBeatrice Good Samaritan Society Event Room\, 401 S 22nd Street.  Park and enter on the east side of the facility.\n\n\n\nThursday\, February 19\n\n7 pm\n\nBPS Administration Building\, Beatrice\n\n\n\nOver 500 Gage County residents filled out the online ECAP Discovery Tool survey regarding how they feel about Gage County and their local community entrepreneurial climate.  \n\n\n\nBeatrice/Gage County was selected as the 8th city/county to participate in the Entrepreneurial Communities Activation Process (ECAP) program facilitated by the University of Nebraska Lincoln Extension program.  The program is a pilot program funded by the Rural Futures Initiative.  University s taff working on entrepreneurial and rural poll experts are assisting with the program.  \n\n\n\nThe Beatrice Area Chamber of Commerce\, Main Street Beatrice\, and Gage Area Growth Enterprise (NGage) have worked collaboratively to facilitate this effort and will be hosting the Community Conversation Meetings.
