SUMMARY:Naturalization Ceremony
DESCRIPTION:Naturalization Ceremony on Constitution Day at\n\nHomestead National Monument of America\n\n \n\nHomestead National Monument of America is honored to host a United States Citizenship and Naturalization Ceremony on Wednesday\, September 17\, 2014. New citizens will take their Oath of Allegiance to the United States at the ceremony. The ceremony will take place at 2 p.m. in the Education Center's Courtyard. The class will focus on the United States Constitution and the knowledge required to pass the naturalization test. Judge Paul Korslund will be talking about role of law and what judges do\; Raul Escobar\, a certified court interpreter\, will be speaking about helping provide court proceedings in an understandable language\; and Anita Mayo\, Omaha attorney and naturalized citizen\, will talk about her ceremony and pride in becoming an American citizen. \n\n \n\nRemember\, Homestead National Monument of America has an exciting schedule of events planned for 2014.
