"Red Alert: Saving the Planet with Indigenous Knowledge". The book is available for purchase in the monument bookstores.\n\nWildcat will speak about one of the biggest problems we face as a society today\, the damaging way humans live on the planet.  He will draw upon ancient Native American wisdom and nature-centered beliefs to advocate a modern strategy to combat global warming.  He believes it doesn't have to be hard\, we just need to get started. \n\nDaniel Wildcat is Director of the American Indian Studies Program and the Haskell Environmental Research Studies Center at Haskell Indian Nations University in Lawrence\, Kansas.  "This will be a unique perspective on what we can do now for the betterment of our planet." stated monument Superintendent Mark Engler.
