"This day is an opportunity to honor Dr. King and his legacy of service\," stated Superintendent Mark Engler.\n\n \n\n"The Man and The Dream" is an hour long film that explores the life of Dr. King from childhood through his assassination in 1968.  This year is the 60th anniversary of the Montgomery Bus Boycott\, the event that set the stage for King's rise to national prominence as a civil rights leader.\n\n \n\nRemember\, Homestead National Monument of America has an exciting schedule of events planned for 2015.
