SUMMARY:Tomato Tasting at Beatrice Public Library
DESCRIPTION:The first annual Tomato Tasting will be held at the Beatrice Public Library on Tuesday\, August 19 from 5 - 7:30 pm.  Participants should meet in the Price Room before moving to the LIbrary's south lawn for the event.  Tomato tasters will have the opportunity to select a Taster's Choice award for their favorite variety.\n\n\n\nGardeners interested in providing tomatoes should bring their washed produce to the Library on August 19 between 10 am and 4:30 pm.  The tomatoes should be in disposable containers.  The name of the specific variety should be noted if it is known.  Unknown tomatoes will be included in a mystery category.  All tomatoes given for the event must include the name\, address and phone number of the donor.  For more information about donating tomatoes\, call 402-239-4781.\n\n\n\nThis is one of the special Seed Library programs held throughout the year.
