Beatrice Children’s Theatre will present a light-hearted western melodrama on Thursday, July 26 and Friday, July 27 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, July 28 and Sunday, July 29 at 2:00 and 7:30 p.m. Many of the traditions known in the "old west" will be put to rest as the good guys try to run the bad guys out of town. The mild-mannered Sheriff with his bumbling Deputy will enlist the help of cowboys and Indianians, yes, that’s Indians, to rid "Beat-Rice" once and for all of evil deeds. This year’s participants have numbered many and we are able to entertain you with two different casts. We would encourage everyone to see the production at least twice, as no two casts are alike and no melodrama is ever the same twice. Be sure to come and "yay" and "boo" your way to a good Ole’ time and celebrate the 150th birthday of Beatrice!
