Bowhunter Education
A Nebraska Game & Park certified bowhunting education course will be offered starting Tuesday, September 3 at 6 pm.
There will be three classes and students must attend all three classes to be certified.
The other classes will be September 5 and September 10. All classes will run from 6 pm to 9:30 pm. The classes will be held at the Beatrice Gun Club located at 5940 West Hoyt Road, Beatrice. There is no cost for the course.
All archery hunters of deer, antelope, elk, or mountain sheep ages 12 thru 29 must have completed a Bowhunter education course.
Bowhunter education course is offered to anyone; however, any child under the age of 11 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and only student's age 11 and older on the examination day will be able to take the test and complete the course and be issued a certificate.
Everyone under 18 must provide to the instructor on the first session a signed, completed, parental release form found on the event details page (download, print and sign),
