Campfire Program to be shown on Civil War Soldiers at the Homestead
The Common Soldier in the Civil War will be presented by Ron Rockenbach as he brings to life the adventure and sacrifice of the Civil War. The program starts at 7 p.m. at Homestead National Monument of America's Education Center.
Homestead National Monument is located four miles west of Beatrice State Highway 4. The visitor center is open 8:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m. daily. Call 402-223-3514 or visit www.nps.gov/home for more information.
