Properly disposing of expired, unneeded and unwanted medication is the focus of the Fall DEA Pharmaceutical Take-Back event.
Two locations are accepting these items--the Gage County Sheriff's Department at 612 Lincoln St., Beatrice and the Wymore Police Department at 302 S. Sixth St., Wymore.
Items accepted include prescription medications, over-the-counter medications, medication samples, pet medications, vitamins, ointments or lotions, inhalers and liquid medications. These should be brought in their original container with personal information marked out, or in one large container.
The following products should not be brought to these sights:
