The Fairbury Cycling Tour, now in its fourth year, will be held Saturday, May 12, beginning with registration at 7:30 a.m. at the Bob Center in Fairbury. The ride begins at 8.
There are five routes: 12 miles-Fairbury-Jansen-Fairbury; 25 miles Fairbury-Endicott-Jansen-Fairbury; 48 miles - Fairbury-Odell-Fairbury; 60 miles - Fairbury-Odell-Harbine-Jansen-Fairbury; 70 miles- Fairbury-Odell-Harbine-Jansen-Endicott-Fairbury.
All routes will be on Nebraska highways, and start and stop in Fairbury. The ride is open to all ages. All riders must wear helmets. SAG support will be available until 2 p.m. from a roving vehicle equipped with bicycle supplies, water and food. Rest stops will be available along the route.
Registration is $30 until April 20, including a T-shirt. After April 20 through the day of the ride, registration is $35, with no T-shirt offered. Children 12-and-younger day free, and must be accompanied by an adult.
