Gov. Dave Heineman is scheduled to deliver the annual State of the State Address on Tuesday, January 15 at 10:00 a.m. CT from the Legislative Chamber of the Nebraska State Capitol in Lincoln.
Following the address and the introduction of the Governor's biennium budget recommendations, Gov. Heineman and Lt. Gov. Rick Sheehy will visit several communities across the state to highlight priorities that will be identified in the 2013 State of the State. The schedule is as follows. All times are Central Standard Time unless otherwise noted.
The Governor's speech will be broadcast live on the NET2 television channel, on NET Radio, and will be streamed live online via NET's Nebraska Capitol Live site. Video of the address will also be archived on the Governor's website, www.Governor.Nebraska.gov.
