In commemoration of the 150th Anniversary of Homestead Act of 1862, Homestead National Monument of America is pleased to present special programs during this year's Heartland Storytelling Festival, April 30-May 4.
The public is invited to join in the storytelling fun at 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. at the Education Center. This year's storytellers are Pippa White, Rosie Curter and Darrin Crow. The performances will be held inside the Education Center and outside in the courtyard. Please dress for the weather. Not only can visitors hear great storyteller, but they can also see the original Homestead Act of 1862 on display at Homestead National Monument of America April 25-May 28.
