Historic Daylight Downtown Alley Tour
Discover Beatrice history in the light of day on Thursday, September 5, by attending the historic Daylight Downtown Alley Tour.
This tour is the second chapter of a tour offered earlier in the spring. The downtown alley lantern tour featured downtown Beatrice after dark. This tour will follow the same path featuring some of the most historic and original architecture in downtown Beatrice.
The tour will begin at 6 pm in the historic Carnegie building at 218 N 5th Street. Along the way, participants will see original architecture dating back to 1870. This architecture tells the story of the grwoth and development of the downtown as well as the sophistication of even the earliest stone and brick buildings.
