Join kids from across the country and visit Homestead National Monument of America, your local National Park Service site, on Celebrate National Kids to Parks Day.
Saturday, May 14
Park Rangers will engage all who come in exploring the sights and sounds of spring at the Monument. Take a hike, check out a bird nature pack to learn area bird calls and enjoy the spring wildflowers. Ask a park ranger about Geocaching and our Earthcache, and listen to the cell phone tour stops throughout the monument.
For information, call 402-223-3514 or visit www.nps.gov/home. Homestead National Monument of America is a unit of the National Park Service, located four miles west of Beatrice.
