Jerry Fox discusses German immigration through folk songs July 23 at 7 p.m. Jerry Fox is a retired German and French Professor at the University of Kearney. He will explain why Germans left their homeland and came here, and why their assimilation became so important for America.
Campfire programs start at 7 p.m. and last approximately one hour. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and insect repellant for comfort. All programs are hosted at the monument's Education Center. In case of inclement weather the programs will be held inside.
