The Lang Building, 6th & Ella Streets, Beatrice
As part of the Homestead National Monument of America's Commemoration of the 150th Anniversary of the signing of the Homestead Act, Main Street Beatrice will host an art exhibition downtown.
The exhibition will be located at the Lang Building from 10 am - 6 pm daily, and will be free to the public.
The art exhibition from the Museum of Nebraska Art, will feature the photographs of Solomon Butcher and other related selections. With over 3,000 photographs, Solomon Butcher produced a record of the settlement of the Great Plains that is both unique and remarkable.
The MONA exhibition was made possible through the generosity of the Nebraska Arts Council.
