Main Street Beatrice is hosting the Night of the Great Pumpkin event again this year to bring families and children downtown for trick-or-treating and games.
This year’s event will be held from 5 - 7 pm, Thursday, October 29th
The annual Night of the Great Pumpkin event will be held 5:00 – 7:00pm today.
This family-focused occasion is a safe, fun, and free way to celebrate the holiday with children of all ages. Adults are also welcome to wear child-friendly costumes and visit downtown businesses.
Due to the rain, a tent will be set up on Court Street, the Nickel In the Haystack game will not be available, and the Scary Scream Contest will be moved into The Fabric Shoppe building. Otherwise, all activities and Trick-Or-Treating will be held as planned.
To promote safety, Court Street will be closed between 5th and 6th Streets to accommodate children’s activities. Additionally, we ask that all participating businesses have a representative distribute the candy to the children rather than allowing the children to reach into the candy bowl. Thank you for your support!
