The Nebraska Choral Directors Association is sponsoring "Sing Around Nebraska Festival Choir" for elementary students in grades four, five, and six. This marks the 20th anniversary of the event.
In Beatrice, the Hevelone Center will be a host site with approximately 120 students in attendance on Saturday, February 18. This site's festival will be directed by Linda Johnson and accompanied by Mary Plock. Karen Jobman and Mary Shelton are the site co-chairpersons.
Students from 12 schools will rehearse the day of the festival with the clinician on music they have prepared for this concert.
There will be a public performance at 4 pm. The cust os $3 for adults and for students ages 12 and older. Children 11 and younger will be admitted free.
