Main Street Beatrice will be hosting the annual Taste of Spring fundraiser on Saturday, April 20, at the former US Bank Building located at 201 N. 6th St (northwest corner of 6th and Ella).
Taste of Spring will begin at 6 p.m. and lasts about two hours. The event will consist of wine tasting, ale tasting, and light hors d'oeuvres. There will be more than 12 wines available to sample, many donated by H&H Distributing.
In addition, the event will include an assortment of ales donated by Empyrean Brewing Company, Spilker Ales, and H&H Distributing.
Tickets for Taste of Spring are $25 per person. Advance reservations can be made by contacting the Main Street Beatrice office at 402-223-3244. Participants may also pay at the door on the evening of the event.
Funds raised through Taste of Spring are put directly back into district revitalization. Some past projects have included economic development, such as the $20,000 business plan competition and design projects like the revitalization of Charles Park and the historic lighting, benches and planters.
Taste of Spring is sponsored by Pinnacle Bank.
