Tractor safety courses offered
University of Nebraska-Lincoln Extension Tractor Safety/Hazardous Occupations Course will be offered in Beatrice at the Extension Office and on the Gage County Fairgrounds on June 14-15.
The class will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Federal law prohibits youths under 16 years of age from working on a farm other than their parents'.
Registration is strongly encouraged by June 7 by contacting the Extension Office in Beatrice at 402-223-1384 or email gage-county@unl.edu. The course registration is $60, which includes supplies, lunches and breaks.
