The Beatrice Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking an enthusiastic Convention and Visitor Bureau Tourism Coordinator to help showcase Beatrice & Gage County as a destination for tourism, events, and economic development. What You'll Do: As the Tourism Coordinator, you will:
- Craft Impactful Content to Promote Beatrice/Gage County: Develop, manage, and distribute engaging content for VisitBeatrice.com, blogs, newsletters, and social media platforms. Proofread and edit materials to ensure high-quality messaging that highlights Gage County’s events, attractions, and hospitality offerings.
- Engage with the Community: Act as a liaison to collaborate with community partners, fostering strong relationships to support tourism initiatives.
- Represent Beatrice/Gage County: Attend tourism events, trade shows, and community programs to position Beatrice/Gage County as a heritage, youth sports, and agri-/eco-tourism destination.
- Plan Memorable Events: Coordinate and execute the Holiday Lighted Parade and Gage County Tourism Award events, handling logistics and post-event analysis.
- Measure Success: Track and analyze key performance metrics, compile reports, and maintain promotional materials.
- Enthusiastic: You’re excited about the idea of promoting Gage County communities and attractions and crafting memorable visitor experiences!
- Knowledgeable: You have a solid understanding of marketing principles, tourism trends, event planning, and social media strategies.
- Skilled: Proficient in Microsoft Office (and/or Google Docs) and content management systems, with exceptional communication and organizational abilities.
- Collaborative: A team player who excels at building relationships with diverse stakeholders.
