Bird Walk at Homestead National Monument of America
Spend Your Holiday with the Birds at
Homestead National Monument of America
Join Natural Resource Specialist Jesse Bolli on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 as he explores the trails of Homestead to discover which of our feathered friends spend the holidays at Homestead. The bird walk will start at 10 a.m. at the Education Center; cookies and coffee will be available starting at 9:30 a.m.
“This event will be a great way for you to get out of the house and burn off some of the extra goodies that were consumed over holidays and learn about the birds that call Homestead home during the winter months,’ stated Park Superintendent Mark Engler. Dress warm and bring your favorite binoculars.
